Meet Dr. Ryan Funderburk
When he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Ryan was originally going to go into PT. While he was doing an internship at a hospital, he also got an internship at a chiropractor’s office.
“I quickly found that with PT, you have to put people through pain to get them better. But the first day I interned at the chiropractor’s office, I witnessed the miracle that chiropractic was and how you can help people with it.” The experience opened Dr. Ryan’s eyes, and he knew he would become a chiropractor.

Chiropractic Education and Certification
After earning his bachelor’s in exercise and sports science, Dr. Ryan attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and has been practicing since 2016. Dr. Ryan is also certified in the Webster Technique to help his pregnant patients.
A Passion for Helping Others
For Dr. Ryan, it’s highly fulfilling to help patients at High Point Chiropractic. “Even as a kid, I knew I wanted to be a doctor or work in some type of helping profession.” He is extremely passionate and dedicated to helping others obtain optimum health, by removing nerve interference in the central nervous system using specific chiropractic adjustments.
In His Spare Time
Outside the practice, Dr. Ryan loves spending time with family and friends. He enjoys hosting game or movie nights and cooking new recipes.
